Project Activities:
 
Speakers: Mrs. Bev Peterson and Mr. Neil Oppendike  
       Mrs. Peterson portraying "Cornflower," a Winnebago woman of Prophet White Cloud's village, described how her people used a basket filled with water and heated rocks to cook food slowly.  She shared information about the villagers' way of life, medicines they made from plants, and the frightening flight of the Indians north into Wisconsin before the Battle of Bad Axe.
