| PURPOSE: |
To define and protect the rights of employees to organize and
bargain collectively with their employers over terms and conditions of
employment. This agency enforces the provision of the National Labor
Relations Act, which covers certain employees, employers, and unions in the
private sector, including the United States Postal Service. |
